When it comes down to it, I don't know much about how to run a wiki. Adding and editing pages? Oh, yes, I'm fine with that. Work ethic? No problem there. Researching and writing skills? Perfectly fine. Other useful skills to run a wiki? Not so much.

Regardless, there are three keys to this wiki's success and so far, we're heading in the right direction.

1 - I, the admin, am committed to making this wiki the best it can be. I'm not afraid to ask for help. I'm not afraid to learn. I'm not afraid to put forth more than the required effort. I'm not afraid to go it alone when times are difficult. I'm not giving up even if I'm off the Internet for weeks and come back to find everything ruined. Don't worry about the wiki failing at all. It's my job to worry, not yours.

2 - The Heroes of Ruin community is made up of dedicated gamers, many of which interested in any way they can contribute to the game, the community, and ultimately, the wiki. I believe in the "If you build it, they will come" principle, but I'm also prepared for the possibility of going alone. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst. Realistically, though, this wiki will not survive without community support, no matter what I do. So, I thank everyone involved in making HoR Community Wiki a better place.

3. Finally, the Wikia community is great. If we have any problems, help is only a few clicks away. The only learning curve comes from the more advanced editing techniques, which most editors don't need to worry about.

I realize that you probably don't need motivation or added confidence in my abilities or vision. Still, I wanted to share some of my reasoning with you, my wonderful editors. Possibly because Leonardo DiCaprio entered my dreams and told me to.
